American Quarter Horse Pictures
American quarter horse pictures are popular in art circles; a new foal is often born on farms.
These animals are very sturdy and muscular, and they have a very well muscled croup. For this reason, as you might have already noticed, they are frequently photographed from behind. They have small ears, cute and dark eyes and white markings on the muzzle and below the knees. The breed arrived in America in the 17th century with English colonists. There is little certainty of the animal’s pedigree, but his genetic pool may contain the genes of Arab, Barb, Thoroughbred, Turk and probably some English and Irish breeds.

foal, farms
This breed is very popular because of its wonderful working abilities and versatility. There are several types within the breed; they have different purposes and vary in body structure and size. Like all purebreds, these animals are prone to a number of genetic diseases. Hyperkalemic periodic paralysis, Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia, Glycogen Branching Enzyme Deficiency, and Lethal White Syndrome occur in some bloodlines. DNA tests can easily identify defective genes responsible for these disorders. To avoid them, ask the breeder for health certificates of both parents of a foal. If the parents are free from these disorders, the offspring is unlikely to develop them. American quarter horse pictures are popular in art circles; a new foal is often born on farms.
